The Parchment Detour Club is a social in-person Membership for Cake Makers, with London & Manchester meet-ups once a month. Adding new cities around the UK in 2026.

We’ll meet in independent bakeries each time, both supporting local businesses and each other, providing a hot drink & pastry/cake as part of your Membership. 

I hear so many times on socail media, baking communities and the cake business memberships I am a part of, Cake Makers saying how isolated they feel at times when they're working in this profession & I’ve felt that myself too; which led me to create the Parchment Detour Club.

I’ve always been a connector of people for as long as I can remember - when I think someone would love knowing someone else I've introduced them, or someone has skills that would be helpful to another I’ve passed their details on...I would really love to bring Cake Makers in different areas together, to not feel that isolation for a couple of hours a month; have chats & laughs, discussions and whatever they need during that time...

Manchester - Tuesday 27th January, From 11:45am-1:45pm

London - Thursday 29th January, From 11am - 1pm

Your first club will be an introductory half price as a Welcome from me - £17.50

Following Clubs will be on a Pay As You Go Basis (PAYG) - £35
